Weather

The weather in Dorado is perfect. Year-round, the temperatures range from 80 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit, making Dorado warm and comfortable. Snowbirds will love escaping winter to this warm, sunny paradise. Puerto Rico is an island in the Caribbean filled with tropical rainforest biomes. As a result, the island does get ample rain. The rainy season is from April to November, but often rain showers are short, and at least part of the day is filled with sunny skies. The warm, humid air feels refreshing against the cool waters of the Caribbean. The rain feeds the ecosystem here and creates stunning waterfalls in El Yunque National Park, the island’s natural rainforest. Residents can hike to hidden waterfalls in the forest and enjoy a day of swimming in the pools below.
